Goopey hair mask that stole my heart

Let’s talk about hair. The thing that has its own days more than I would like to admit. That hair where we spend so many hours styling and all the hard work is reduced to nothing with a humid or raining weather.  That part of the body where everybody spends thousands of dollars to upkeep and products.   I have a frizzy and curly hair. It is highly unmanageable. I am a busy mom of two, I do not have time to straighten it. I used to straighten it a lot more when I was younger.  I am big on hair. Let me explain. I like to take care of my hair in a laziest way possible. I love using masks, oils and hair products that rejuvenate and repair my hair. I love using products that easy to apply, where I wait couple minutes then rinse it off.  I want products that work for me, not the other way around. I have been looking for an effective mask that is truly effective. I came across Adwoa Beauty Blue Tansy Reparative Mask.

I have damaged hair. Even though, I don’t color it that much, sun and the mom bun do their fair share of damage. My hair becomes this frizzy mess with ton of split ends, more than I would like to admit.  I mostly wear my hair in a bun. Its nicely tucked in but we all know, nothing good comes out from constantly keeping your hair in a bun. Well, blame it on my children, especially on the 4-month-old who likes to grab my hair like his life depends on it without any mercy. I was looking for a mask that would not only repair my split ends and damaged hair, but also would nourish and nurse it back to healthy. I was literally looking for a miracle product that might not even exist as I have only handful of hair products that I love.  But then met Blue Tansy Reparative Mask.

Before trying this mask, I have tried a good amount of Adwoa Beauty products. I have tried their shampoos, conditioners, and leave in conditioners. But none of them was impressive to me. I also did not like the scent of most of them.  I was pretty hesitant to try this one to be honest. I did not think it was going to be impressive. I did not think it was actually do anything to my hair, let alone work. Boy, I was mistaken. I am so glad; I gave it a try. Let me tell you more about this hair mask.

My Experience

Blue tansy reparative mask transformed my hair.  Let’s start with its packaging.  It comes in a very big tub and the tub is full to the brim. It has a very thick, luxurious, rich and creamy consistency that is more like a goop. It is the thickest cream consistency you could ever think of.  That is good for the purpose. It is a mask, not a moisturizer. It must be rinsed of not leave it on. Thick creamy consistency is a proof of how nutrient dense this hair mask is. It literally screams nutrition and luxury. In the beginning, I was using this mask once a week but as soon as my hair improved now, I use It once a month. Since the cream is so rich and thick, I use it one tablespoonful and its enough to cover my long hair. Little bit goes a long way. It has a refreshing smell but not overpowering. If you do not, prefer scents in your hair care, this one might not be for you.

When my hair was really damaged, I was using this mask once a week. Now I don’t need it as often so its once or twice a month. I separate my hair into four sections to be able to spread the mask equally. I get a clean spoon and goop a liberal amount. I apply it to my hair and massage my scalp with it. I also comb it through to make sure dead hair is cleared out. I leave the mask on about 20 minutes before rinsing it off. Not going to lie, it takes a good amount time to rinse it but it’s an enjoyable process. When it washes off, there is no residue left. Results are amazing.

As soon as I wash the mask off, my hair feels soft, hydrated and moisturized. My hair was really harsh and after using this mask, my hair feels so soft. From the very first use, you can see and feel the difference. After drying my hair, my curls are defined, and frizz is completely gone. My hair is more manageable where I can easily comb through even when it is dry.  Also, the shine that this mask gives is stunning. My hair looks so healthy now. My curls are very bouncy and flowy. My split ends are less visible now. Consistent usage of this mask prevents further breakage and split ends. It literally nourishes and strengthens the hair inside out to prevent further damage.  It keeps the hair healthy for a long time.

Blue tansy reparative mask costs exactly $40. It is a great price for the quality and the amount you are getting.  The price is justified. I would even consider it extremely affordable for what you are getting. Other comparable products retail for much higher.  The tub is large and since this is such a thick mask, you only need a little bit each time for it to be effective. I have been using this mask for a while now, I am pretty sure this tub will last me about 9 months even if I use it once a week. It is totally worth the price because it is truly effective. I fell in love with this mask from the very first use. Experiencing the transformation of my hair was an amazing experience. Healthy hair makes a huge difference in my mood, confidence and overall, in my appearance.   I look so much better now even if I haven’t slept for days because my hair is shinier. (Ok, I may or may not have exaggerated a little bit) This is one mask I truly can’t live without. I have never tried such effective product.  I literally have NOTHING bad to say. That never happens. Shocker. I am like the mother-in-law sits on the corner and judges everybody. In my case, I sit behind my computer, and judge the brands and their products.

In conclusion, you must try this mask. You will not be disappointed. It provides moisture, nutrition and hydrating that your hair needs. It transforms damaged and frizzy hair into a beautiful manageable hair that is way less frizzy and with defined curls.  It gives a beautiful and healthy shine that makes your hair look absolutely beautiful.  I can’t rave enough about it.
