Dior Lip Glow Oil is what Dreams Are Made of

Luxury brands always get me! When I see brands like Dior, Chanel and YSL, my logical thinking and judgement is usually disabled. I love trying products from luxury brands. They are good quality and they work well. They are also really fun to shoot with.  I also love to pamper myself once in a while whenever I can. Now let’s talk about what really gets me.  The packaging, oh lord the packaging. You can put a grain of rice in a nice packaging with a luxury brand logo slapped on it, I will hand you my credit card for you to complete the transaction with no questions asked. It is that bad. Don’t judge. Everybody has a weakness, mine happens to be luxury brands. I would love to join Luxury Brand Addict Anonymous but probably I will end up convincing everybody else to buy more luxury crap that they do not need. But today, I came with a Dior product that you need and you will love. Hear me out!

I have tried many Dior beauty products before. I have tried their mascara, blush and Dior addict lip glow balm.  They were good products but I tend to fall in love with their lip products the most. Generally speaking, I prefer lip balms and lipsticks over lip glosses. The sticky feeling on my lips irks me which is why avoided trying Dior Lip Glow Oil. Well, until now. Being an influencer does not mean you do not get influenced by your fellow influencers.  Well, that’s what happened with me. I kept seeing this lip oil for about million times and finally I gave in. I headed straight to Bloomies to grab it. Proud to say, I did not pick up anything else that day. But that doesn’t mean I did not order anything else online. Maybe I have. Don’t tell my husband! It’s our secret. This was a gift for me for the holidays, from me, to me.  Before I go on about my experiences, let me introduce you to infamous Dior Glow Lip Oil.

About The Product

Dior Lip Glow Oil is a nourishing glossy lip oil. It protects the lips while enhancing the lips by bringing out their natural color. It is a non-sticky, rich, non-greasy and balmy lip oil. It provides intense lip care while it makes lips look glossy and shiny. The main ingredient is cherry oil which protects against drying. It nourishes and hydrates the lips while providing the care that your lips need. It moisturizes the lips and the moisture remains even after five days of application.

 My Experience

During winter months, my lips get chapped and dry. I find myself constantly using multiple lip products multiple times of the day to moisture and nourish my lips. It is frustrating, painful and extremely bothersome.  I wanted to give this lip oil a try because I have heard so many great things about it. My friends swear by it, so I gave it a try.

This lovely lip oil is so nourishing and hydrating. As soon as I apply, it softens my lips. The dryness goes away within minutes of application. This lip oil is good to use all year around but during the winter months, this lip oil could be your holy grail. It works like a charm. Even hours after application, my lips stay hydrated and soft all day long. It repairs my chapped lips in no time and the effect lasts a while. This oil is very nutrient dense which is exactly what I need. It locks in the moisture, nourishes and makes your lips look pretty.

 I love how this lip oil looks on my lips. Literally, even with no makeup, this lip oil quickly makes me look put together.  It is like magic. It enhances my lip color. My lips look shiny, glossy and beautiful. After application, this lip oil enhances the look of my lips beautifully. My lips look natural reddish pink that is shiny and beautiful.  I have to be honest; it is a little sticky but not bothersome. It is not greasy, it doesn’t smudge. It absorbs in a short period of time but the shine stays on longer. Even though, not happy with its stickiness, the benefits outweigh the cons.

The packaging is luxurious.  It is clean and minimal which is absolutely beautiful. I had so much fun working with this product. I did not even need any kind of props. The product itself was enough. Just gorgeous. It is compact so it’s easy to carry and travel around. I love when lip products are not too big. I like to constantly like to carry them around. This lip oil is perfect for travel.  The application is nice and thick. It is such a pleasure to apply. I wish all lip glosses came with this application. Thick and sturdy applicator makes the application process quick and effective. I only dip the applicator once and I get enough product to cover my whole lips. So good.

This lip oil costs $38. I think it’s completely worth the money. It does what it is supposed to do beautifully. During winter months, I needed a nutrient dense lip product that not only made my lips looked look good but also nourished.  Even though it is a little pricey compared to other lip products in the market, it’s worth every penny. I never tried a nourishing product that enhances lips by bringing out its natural color this good.  My lips look absolutely beautiful.  With luxurious packaging and the effect, it has on your lips, this is a truly a feel-good product. Also, there is absolutely no harm investing in couple luxury products once in a while. Makes you feel pampered.
