Forever Young With Dime beauty TBT Cream

Moisturizers are essential part of our skincare routine.  Many of us skip everything else, but never forget to apply a moisturizer.  I am totally one of them. I usually have a nice skincare routine that has 5 steps. I am also a hopeless dreamer that is trying to avoid Botox as long as I can. As a busy mom of two, I sometimes, too tired to go through the 5 steps of skincare so I just wash my face and put on moisturizer before heading to bed. Moisturizer is never forgotten. I literally always keep a small jar of moisturizer in my bag.  I usually apply twice a day but during cold winter months I apply it three times. I just cannot start my day without moisturizer. If my day is too busy, I skip the serum, the toner and the oil but I always, always apply moisturizer. As you see, I am obsessed. Why do we need moisturizer you say.

We need moisturizer because;

*Our skin needs daily hydration just like our body. It plumps and hydrate our skin.

*It helps slow down the aging process. It slows down the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

*Hydration intensifies the skin barrier which keeps the oil production under control.

*It evens out the skin tone.

*Reduces the visibility of dark spots.

There are too many benefits to ignore so I never skip. When I am shopping for a moisturizer, I look out for couple ingredients that I know it is necessary for the well-being of my skin.

I look out for;

*Hyaluronic Acid- It is an amazing ingredient that hydrates and moisturizes. It helps reducing the wrinkles and smooths out the skin.

*Vitamin C- It diminishes the appearance of fine lines. It brightens the skin. Helps your skin look healthy and young.

*Squalene- It hydrates the skin while locking in the moistures and hydration. It promotes healthier skin.

*Bakuchiol/Retinol –I alternate between these two. They basically do the same thing such as minimizing the wrinkles and even out the skin tone. Bakuchiol is basically plant based retinol however bakuchiol is less irritating and derived from plants. Its vegan. On the other hand, retinol could be irritating and it is derived from animals.

Lately, I have been more inclined to use anti-aging products. During pregnancy, I avoided all the retinol and bakuchiol products as it is not safe to use during pregnancy. Since I am no longer pregnant or nursing, I went right back to products that has bakuchiol as my fine lines and wrinkles started to intensify. Pregnancy did no good to my skin and time to recover for me! While I was looking into find a good moisturizer, I came across Dime Beauty TBT Cream.  Then our love affair started.  Before I jump in, I would like to introduce you to the product.

 About The Cream

This TBT cream is a clean retinol alternative. It is just as effective as retinol but not as harsh.

The benefits of this cream are;

*It helps to regulate sebum production

*Plumps and firms the skin

*Reduces the appearance of fine lines.

*Accelerates the skin cell turnover

 Key Ingredients

Bakuchiol- A natural alternative to retinol. Helps with antiaging. Reduces the appearance of the wrinkles and fine lines. It also plays an important role to even the skin tone.

Apple Stem Cell Extract- It helps reduce appearance of wrinkles. It reduces crow’s feet wrinkles with daily use.

My Experience

Let’s talk about the texture first.  It is thicker consistency but it absorbs fast. It applies like a butter but not edible. (Sad) It’s a very creamy consistency which is a pleasure to play with. No greasy feel at all which is unexpected from this kind of cream.  It screams luxury. It has a clean smell but very subtle. The smell goes away once you apply it. I couldn’t be more in love with the texture.

I am trying to avoid Botox for as long as I can, so I am trying to find effective anti-aging products that doesn’t break the bank. I think TBT cream is the one I was searching for the whole time. This cream did wonders to my skin.  Using this cream made a lot of difference on my skin in a good way. My skin was dull and damaged before starting to use this cream, my wrinkles were apparent. I blame pregnancy for that and my forever 25 age. Ok, fine I am 32 years old, but 25 in spirit, ok? Anyway, I am a month in using this cream, my skin is soft and glow. I apply it at night and my skin looks healthier all day around. I literally wake up with silky skin. Magic. Pure magic.  It definitely plumped my skin as my wrinkles on my forehead and around my eyes are way less visible now. My skin looks healthier and younger.  I was surprised how effective this cream is. I was not expecting such a big difference in such a short period of time. My skin is silky, smooth and less wrinkly.

This is a perfect cream for combatting aging. It has extremely potent ingredients to reduce your wrinkles and prevent new ones from forming. It has Bakuchiol which has similar effects as retinol which helps reduce the appearance of fine lines. It also has Apple Fruit Stem Cell Extract as it combats the appearance of aging and wrinkles. It erases the appearance of crow’s feet.  This product is a dream for those who is focusing on anti-aging.

If you had been reading my blogs, you know I have a very sensitive skin. I usually go for bakuchiol for anti-aging instead of retinol as its is less irritating. Thankfully, I have not experienced any kind of irritation, acne nor redness. It is nice to be able to use a product that is effective but not irritating. Anti-aging products are very hard for me as I seldom find the ones that doesn’t bother my skin.

Dime Beauty is a clean brand as it is vegan, cruelty free and even comes in sustainable packaging. I have nothing bad to say about this brand. This is literally one of the best brands I have ever got my hands on. This cream costs $38. It is reasonable priced and very affordable. It has a thick consistency and only to be used at nights, so a little bit goes a long way. I have been using this cream for a month once a day and I am not even half way through the bottle yet. I am guessing, it will last me at least 6 months.  The price is right and the quality is good. There is absolutely no reason not to try. I am really happy about the results so far and can’t wait to see what it does to my skin 6 months down the line.

Dime beauty stole my heart. I can’t wait to try other products from them. I am excited to explore more.

Hope you guys all remain hydrated and moisturized.

See you guys in my next blog.

XOXO
