EYE CREAM THAT FIXES ALL YOUR LIFE PROBLEMS

Elemis did it again! It managed to seduce me, influence me, hypnotize me and made me try their eye cream. I am poorer in my bank account but very satisfied in heart.  I have mentioned before. I am a full time working attorney and a busy mom of two who doesn’t really have any time to sleep. What is sleep anyway. 24 hours is just too little and my to do list seems to never get shorter.  So, I tend to pick productivity over sleep. I live on eye creams. I need to look less tired and refreshed. I obviously cannot go to work looking like a panda.  I usually look for a fast acting cream that depuffs and visibly reduces dark circles around my eyes. Needless, to say, while skincare and make up fixes my face, a warm cup of cappuccino does its trick and gets my mood and soul awake. Eye cream and coffee is my daily life saver.  I am always careful for what eye cream I use because my around eye area extremely sensitive. Elemis has never disappointed me before. I have tried everything they came up with. I am like their biggest fan who is waiting at their door ready to buy any of the products that they come up with.  They are not a cheap brand but it is a brand that always creates these amazing products that are aesthetic, satisfying and effective.

Elemis Pro Collagen Vitality Eye Cream, is a luxurious cream aims to nourish and hydrate the delicate skin around the eyes in order to replenish and smooth the eye contour the skin feeling firm and bright. It aims to reduces the look of dark circles and fatigue, for a visibly lifted appearance and helps protect from the effects of blue light.

My Experience

 This is literally without any exaggeration; the best eye cream I have tried up to date. I have tried almost every single product from pro- collagen line. I have used the Pro- Collagen Marine Cream during my entire pregnancy and that was one of the very few creams I have used. I have a special place in my heart for this line.   Elemis Pro Collagen Vitality Eye Cream is just as it is expected. Let me start with texture. Just as expected, it is thicker than a lotion or a moisturizer. It has a subtle but nice scent. Since the texture is dense, you only need a smidgen for it to work. It applies beautifully. It does take a little bit of time for it absorb. Happy to say it does not clash with make up at all. It is a beautiful, rich texture that is very satisfactory.

 I usually apply twice a day after cleansing and applying serum on my face. Eye cream is one of the last steps of my skincare routine. I rub it in nicely until it is completely absorbed. When you apply this eye cream, it feels really nice. It is a very refreshing feeling. It has this nice subtle cooling sensation that I really enjoy.

 Skincare is not just about applying certain products to your skin. Skincare for me is much more than just well taken care of skin. Skincare routine is the only me time I get during the day where I feel like I am doing something for myself. It helps me set my mood. It helps me wake up and make me feel ready to take on the day. It is a therapeutic experience for me.

 I have been using this cream past month. My skin has visibly improved. The small wrinkles around my eyes are pretty much faded away and less visible. When I wake up, I wake up with puffy eyes and dark circles. I have been only sleeping 4-5 hours at most and that is if it is a good night. Skin and eyes don’t lie at all. This eye cream helped me so much.  I apply it around my eyes every morning, within couple minutes it reduces my dark circles and lowers the puffiness of my eyes. It is very effective and I am gushing over it just because how good it works. Literally, a life saver.  Once you apply it, the effects last all day long. It keeps me under eyes well hydrated. During dry months, I tend to get flakey skin, and thankfully, this eye cream helped me get rid of them as well. This cream is wonderful.

 Let’s talk about the price, which is undoubtedly, expensive. Elemis is a luxury brand, so the price is set accordingly. Are we surprised? I am not, as an Elemis fan, my credit card and my husband are trained so well. No amount of spending I do, shocks them anymore. I do not know if that is good or bad, but it is something for sure. Pro Collagen Vitality Eye Cream cost a whopping $110 for 0.5oz. It is too expensive. It is definitely a splurge. But on the other hand, I think it’s worth it if you want to treat yourself. It works nicely and it is a great cream but comes in this small jar. I wish there was a lot more product for it. If you have the budget for it, then I would totally recommend for you to go get it.

 Overall, I love this cream as it is so good and does what it is claims and aims to do beautifully. It plumps my skin, reduces my wrinkles, nourishes and moisturizes and depuffs my skin. It is absolutely amazing. But then on the downside, the price is too high and for many this cream is nothing more than an unnecessary expense. Also, it literally a very small amount of product for an absurd amount of money. I couldn’t justify but for me,its worthed. I would splurge on effective products.
