Dreaming OF a Serum with SPF 45? Well, Murad Just Made Your Dreams Come True!

Murad Correct & Protect Serum Broad Spectrum SPF 45 Mineral Sunscreen.  It’s a pretty mouthful name for a product but it just stole my heart.  3 bottles later, I am obsessed and forever fan of this product. I keep using it and buying it as I finish bottle after bottle.   Let me explain! I have always dealt with hyperpigmentation. Dark spots appear on my face left and right and I am always on the look out for a good product that would fix this constant problem of mine. I have tried many products that claims that it visibly reduces hyperpigmentation, but wasn’t so happy with any of them until I stumbled upon this product.  I have been a big fan of Murad Skincare for couple years already.  No matter what product I try from that, I somehow end up falling in love. I have many of their products as my holy grail. I somehow stumbled upon this product and now I can’t stop repurchasing. I am a busy mom of 2. I always find myself picking products that are multipurpose.  This product is so interesting because sunscreen with SPF protection and serum is in one bottle. I love how it has SPF  45 sun protection which is very high. When I read about this product, I decided to give it a try. I knew it was going to be good since Murad never disappoints but I did not know I would love it so much.

Before I blabber about my experiences, let me introduce you the product. Here is what you need to know.

About This Product

This is a serum with mineral SPF that visibly corrects discoloration and prevents future discoloration. Main Ingredients are;

*Mineral Zinc Oxide Sunscreen and Plant Extracts- Provides defense against UVA, UVB, blue light and pollution.

*Beet Root Extract- It hydrates skin and supports vitamin D protection.

*Uv- Responsive Carotenoid Technology- It absorbs and reflects UV light which enhances skin’s glow. It brightens the face and reduces discoloration.

My Experience

I cannot rave enough about this product.  No, I am definitely not a Murad Ambassador. I wish!!!

This serum applies smoothly like a butter.  It is lightweight. This serum is so hydrating. Even though this product is partially a sunscreen, it does not dry the skin out like other sunscreens. Even the product itself is white, it does not leave a white cast. It absorbs pretty fast without leaving a sticky residue. It does not leave the skin oily either. I was concerned about how it would perform with make up but as it absorbs fast, it does not effect make up at all. It wears well with makeup. My foundation applied and remained perfect.

Here is what happened to my skin after I used it for a week. It transformed. That is what happened. It transformed. My hyperpigmentation visibly reduced. I had couple acne spots that was lightened up after using this product. This product evened my skin tone which I love. It brightened my face. After application, my face feels soft and adequately hydrated. I have this healthy glow which I absolutely love. I have sensitive skin. It is hard for me to find serums that doesn’t irritate my skin. Surprisingly, this serum did not cause any kind of irritation. No rash, no itchiness, no nothing. It is effective and it works. The quality of this product is world class.

This product is a dream serum for a person who has hyperpigmentation issues. It is a great serum for those who forget to wear sunscreen every day. This serum is a great product for those who has sensitive skin that gets easily irritated. It is literally a great product that could work with all skin types even if your skin is super sensitive.

Could not be happier with this product. Currently it retails for $69. It is pricey but completely worthen. Well, usually serums are pretty pricey. Given that, this is a great brand and effective product, it is totally worth to give it a try. Not to mention, I am on my 3rd bottle already. I will keep repurchasing.
